Almost everyone who works here is amazing with animals & super friendly! Our dogs love going there for all of their shots/vaccines & the staff is amazing at comforting them when they are hurting.
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I am the mother of three cats and two of them got spayed here very recently, and their surgery apparently was fine and they are in recovery. When I went to pick them up, the rude lady at the desk with the brown hair and glasses handed me the piece of paper that gave me all of the 'information' I needed to know but then proceeded to tell me all of it like a know it all instead of letting me read the paper in front of my face.

If you want a vet clinic to go to around the Keota area, go to Kalona. They do a much better job. Do not trust these people with your pets. In fact, just leave Keota entirely. The place is a dump.
One of these things they wrote down was that both of my cats were pregnant when I know for a fact that there is absolutely no possible way that either of them were pregnant at all? wtf. The morning I had brought them, I brought my cats' toothbrush and toothpaste and asked if they could brush their teeth for me while they were knocked out, which they did. But then they proceeded to write on the piece of paper that brushing does not remove tartar, and even underlined it. Which I know. I am a cat owner. I know these things. okay? We had called the day after I picked them up if we could get a different pain medication in liquid form because they gave me PILLS to give to them for their pain for the next three days and I thought they would know, as people who work with animals, that trying to pill cats is literally the most impossible thing on the planet. I tried and tried to give them the pills, the right way, and it is impossible with my cats. But instead of trying to be helpful, the rude desk lady I mentioned before, was extremely rude to us and refused to help us whatsoever.
